MEET DOCTOR BADIYAN
S. Justin Badiyan, MD, is a board certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician treating a variety of conditions at Spine & Joint Physicians of Frisco in Frisco and Lewisville, Texas. Anesthesiologists are the world’s leading experts in relieving pain without surgery. We achieve this with the latest cutting edge and innovative treatments and therapies.
Dr. Badiyan specializes in non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments for back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint pain, neuropathy, and other painful conditions. Dr. Badiyan believes in practicing evidence-based medicine. This is intended to optimize decision-making by emphasizing the use of evidence from well-designed and well-conducted research from leading medical institutions.
This is a family-owned business, not a corporation. Patients are not treated as just a number. Tired of not seeing your doctor? Dr. Badiyan is committed to individualized care and personally sees every patient during the initial consultation and at each follow-up visit. Have you been told you need surgery and are seeking a second opinion? Dr. Badiyan is happy to evaluate you to see if a non-surgical option is for you.
Dr. Badiyan is double board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. Why is this important? Physicians with an ongoing commitment to board certification participate in training and assessment beyond what is required by their peers. They work to continually improve the care they deliver. They are skilled, knowledgeable, experts in their specialty, and meet a higher standard of care.
A native of Dallas/Fort Worth, Dr. Badiyan is a graduate of Texas A&M University and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and later finished his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Florida. He completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Virginia.
